My granddaughter loves Leggos and she likes this set very muchThis is a very cute house. The swing on the front porch is a nice touch as is the swing-around staircase. It has a swivel chair in the office. How cute. The rooms are small, especially the kitchen for adult hands but a small child would most likely have an easier time playing. The colors are bright and cheery. It was easy to assemble and the Lego instruction books are the best instruction booklets I have ever seen for a product. I am an adult senior enjoying putting these sets together. My one thought is, if one is going to purchase multiple Lego theme sets, invest in a table or shelf to put the sets on so children won’t have to take them apart and then have to rebuild every time they play With them. This Friends Heartlake set allows for unending imaginative play and each set allows for even more possibilities.I have worked with and around children my whole adult life. I would definitely purchase Lego sets for a child. It teaches children patience, improves their ability to problem solve and follow directions. It will boost self confidence and allow for creativity. If parents provide a space to display the finished product for future play...these Lego sets are a win-win for everyone. If you are a senior wanting something fun to occupy your time...have fun. They really are fun to build...no matter your age.I originally purchased Stephanie's house for my 9 year old niece. She put it together by herself. Since then, my 5 year old has taken over ownership of this Lego set. She has put it together (with some help) twice & has yet to lose interest. My 4-year old loved it.We bought it for her as a christmas gift after she kept asking for it, after seeing YouTube reviews. She loved building the house together with us. But once we finished she took it apart and would build her own version of the house. No complaints. They're Legos and are really great for children to explore their imaginations. My daughter tend to use the larger pieces to build, not so much on the tiny pieces. There is A LOT of tiny pieces. They're so small that they can easily be mistaken as cookie crumbs and be vacuumed up. They are a pain in the butt because of how tiny they are. Trying to vacuum I literally have to go on my knees to make sure there aren't any pieces on the floor. We put all the pieces in a gallon sized ziploc bag and she would keep all the unused pieces in the bag. But accidents do happen and they sometimes do fall off the table. So just a heads up. These will be a mom's cleaning nightmare.I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and she loved it! It's a very nice set that even has a working porch swing. It did take some time to put together and my daughter couldn't do most of it on her own. It's definitely a complex set. I personally think Lego is way overpriced, but this set is super cute! I recommend to anyone who doesn't mind paying the price to put a smile on their child's face. I think any little Lego lover would be happy to get this set.I was impressed that we received our legos pretty quickly. This is a discontinued set, and we've learned our lesson about waiting too long on completing a lego set collection that we really love. I understand that there was a mark up on the price on discontinued sets, but this distributor was way less than others.Purchased this for my granddaughter during the Covid-19 Pandemic to give her something new to do. She spent the whole time building it in one setting and completed the entire house. My granddaughter is 7 years old and I was very impressed with her taking the time to go through the instructions and build it to specific accuracy. She plays with daily. Very cute. I will be ordering more sets!!!!LEGO knocked it out of the park with these sets for girls. My seven-year-old twin daughters have played continuously with these since Christmas Day.Note to parents: Be prepared for quality assembly time! The only good thing is that so far it doesn’t seem little girls want to break it and build something else. My girls are content with the building staying as the instructions dictated.I loved the idea that this was lego more designed for young girls, and that lego is just not for boys. I was building this with my granddaughter, and as you probably no, the larger lego sets come in bags that are numbered s, showing you where to start and what bag needs to be opened next.my problem arose when I had to take a couple pieces from the next bag to continue following the instructions, which continued when I started the next bag now I was short and had to steal from the next bag.I know that I never misplaced or lost them as I was working on a table top and everything was visible.I will now have to go into a misc. bin to see if I can replace the missing parts. This is the first time that this has occurred, dissapointingFor those kids who are in LEGO this is a great set, I truly enjoyed building it together with my 9 years old daughter.Shipping and delivery was very prompt.I like LEGO attention to details and variety of combinations, you can free style with many pieces or just stick to the booklet and build a set.The order was late, the lego was in a plastic bag rather than a box and now that we are finishing putting it together, there are missing pieces! I have a very unhappy 6 year old who had been asking for Stephanie's house for months...A great gift for the budding architect or engineer. My granddaughter left all the other toys and books and ran off to start building this house. Good thing we left it until the end.My 7yo daughter really enjoys this kit. I wasn't overly complicated that she couldn't put it together her self. As usual the instruction booklet is easy to follow with detailed illustrations.
